HOW CAN I TRY ON GLASSES?

DO SUNGLASSES PROVIDE UV PROTECTION?

Yes, Movitra by Zeiss sunglass lenses offer extreme protection from UVA and UVB radiation. The lenses offer protection from category 1 to category 3.

ARE THE PRODUCTS ON MOVITRA.IT THE SAME AS THOSE IN THE RETAILERS?

Most are, but available assortments may vary on Movitra.it and at authorized Movitra dealers. If you have a question about a frame you can't find on Movitra.it, please email customercare@movitra.it or call us on +39 02 45476924.

THE GLASSES I'M LOOKING FOR ARE SOLD OUT. WHEN WILL IT BE AVAILABLE AGAIN?

If the sunglasses you are looking for is out of stock, sign up for our newsletter, we always inform our subscribers when something is back in stock, remember that some collections are limited and will no longer be created, you will find this written on the page of the glasses.

I HAVE A NICKEL ALLERGY. WHAT KIND OF GLASSES SHOULD I BUY?

If you have a nickel allergy, we recommend choosing an acetate frame.

WHERE ARE YOUR FRAMES AND LENSES MADE?

Our supply chain is all, proudly made in Italy. When it comes to acetate, MAZZUCCHELLI 1849 is one of the most important Italian companies with over 170 years of experience in the field. The high quality acetate in our frames is a modified natural polymer derived from cotton. Our lenses are supplied by the renowned ZEISS® company, our partner and one of the world's most famous optical system manufacturers, the lenses of our glasses are produced exclusively in Italian factories. The ZEISS® warranty is included with each eyewear case.


CARE AND USE

HOW DO I CLEAN MY GLASSES?

For a quick clean, first blow off any particles on the glasses, then wipe them off with the special cloth you can find in the glasses case. For a deep clean, add a drop of liquid dish soap (without moisturizer) to a bowl of water large enough to submerge your glasses. Soak them for a few minutes, then wipe them clean with a paper towel or soft cloth.

DO YOU PROVIDE PRESCRIPTION LENSES?

No, the Italian legislation does not allow the online sale of prescription lenses. Nevertheless, all our frames are suitable for prescription lenses. Therefore, choose the model you like and go to your optician to have your prescription lenses fitted. We can suggest to you one of our authorized dealers who will be able to supply you the right lenses. 

HOW TO PLACE YOUR ORDER 

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE CONFIRMATION THAT MY ORDER HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL?

Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email, which means that we have received your request. Once payment has been processed and the item(s) have been collected and shipped, you will receive an email notifying you that your order has left our warehouse.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE CONFIRMATION THAT MY ORDER IS ON ITS WAY?

Once your order has been confirmed, our warehouse will collect and pack your items and then you will receive a shipping confirmation email. The email will contain your tracking information. Details on how to track your package can be found in our "Order Tracking" section.

DO I HAVE TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT? WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES?

No, you don't. You can make the purchase easily even as a guest, but if you subscribe to our Newsletter you will receive the following benefits: constant updates on new collections, directly by email. Possibility to buy our new season models as soon as they are out. You will be among the first to know the latest news from Movitra.

WHAT TYPES OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, PayPal, Google Payments and Apple Payments. Your card is only charged at the time of shipping, unless you are paying with Paypal, in which case payment is made at the time of order.

IS MOVITRA.IT SAFE?

Shopping is safe at movitra.it. 


We use the highest standard socket technology (256-bit SSL certificate, PCI level-1 compliant) to enable the encryption of potentially sensitive information such as your name, address and other information such as your credit card details. The information transmitted between your computer and our website cannot be read should someone else intercept it. 


This technology includes the following features: Authentication: this assures your browser that your data is being sent to the correct server and that the server is secure. Encryption: this encrypts your data so that it cannot be read by anyone other than the secure server. Data integrity: this checks the transferred data to make sure it has not been altered. 

AT WHAT STAGE IS THE PAYMENT TAKEN FROM MY CARD?

We will ask your bank for your debit/credit card authorization when you place an order with us.


However, the amount will only be charged when we ship the goods to you; you will receive an email from us to confirm which items are sent and the exact amount charged to your card. Therefore, if for any reason we are unable to send you an item, you will only be charged for the items we send you. Please note that if you pay with PayPal, payment is made at the time of purchase. However, in the event that the goods are not available for any reason, your PayPal payment will be refunded. 

CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER?

We are unable to amend your order or change your delivery or payment method once you have completed your order. We may cancel your order if it has not yet been dispatched. Please contact us by email and we will be happy to resolve the issue. For more information on how to return items, please see our Returns page.

I'LL PAY THE VAT?

All prices on our website include VAT, where applicable, and any applicable sales tax charges in the country of delivery. Rates vary by country, but our prices remain the same due to various factors.

I LIVE OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION, WILL I HAVE TO PAY CUSTOMS DUTIES OR TAXES?

Yes. For any purchase on movitra.it you will have to pay any customs and/or import duties for delivery from Italy to any country outside the EU.

I MADE A MISTAKE WITH MY ORDER, CAN I CHANGE IT?

Once you have completed your order, you can no longer change it. Don't worry, you can easily return unwanted items to us and get a refund. Alternatively, don't hesitate to contact our Customer Service team who will be more than happy to look into your request further. I JUST CONFIRMED MY ORDER, CAN I ADD MORE ITEMS?

After you place your order, you can no longer add items. You will need to complete a separate order to purchase the additional items. Please contact customer service at a later date if you would like to ship a single package, we will be happy to reimburse you for the additional shipping costs.

SHIPPING, TRACKING AND SERVICES

GENERAL INFORMATION

We are pleased to offer free shipping for all your purchases on movitra.it to all EU countries. 


 In any case, any customs or import duties imposed on products returned to Italy will be your responsibility. 


All orders are processed in EURO (EUR, €). Any returned Products will be returned by Movitra at the same shipping cost to the Customer, provided our return procedure is followed. 


Orders will be shipped using a reliable delivery service chosen by Movitra. 


Your order will arrive in approximately 2-7 business days after shipping, Monday through Friday are considered business days. 


Please ensure that the shipping address is correct as we are unable to change the order information once the goods have left our warehouse and are on their way. Also, we cannot process an order where a P.O. Box, post office or shipper's warehouse is listed as the delivery address. 

INFORMATION ON INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION

For orders delivered to destination countries outside the member countries of the European Union, the relevant shipping cost will be displayed at the time of payment, while any customs or import duties will be your responsibility. Any returned Products will be returned to Movitra at the same delivery cost as the Customer, provided that our return procedure is followed. Please note that in any case any customs or import duties imposed on products returned to Italy will be charged to you..

VAT

All prices on our website include VAT where applicable, as well as any sales tax charges applicable in the country of delivery. Rates vary by country but our prices remain the same due to various factors in the supply chain.

HOW DO I KNOW WHEN MY ORDER HAS BEEN SHIPPED?

Once your order has been shipped from our warehouse, you will be sent an email informing you that it has departed. The email will also contain your tracking number and a link to our courier website which will update you on the status. You can also track your package through your account if you are registered. If you have any questions regarding the tracking of your order, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

MY PACKAGE CHARTER SAYS DELIVERED BUT I DIDN'T RECEIVE IT.

Contact us so we can check the delivery status with the courier. Always write your order number in any email or message.

WHAT DO I DO IF THERE'S A PROBLEM WITH MY DELIVERY?

If you have a problem with delivery, you can contact us and we will be able to look into this further for you.

CAN I PAY IN MY OWN CURRENCY?

Yes.

WHY DIDN'T MY CARD PAYMENT GO THROUGH?

We are not always able to specify why card payments have failed, this is because the card payment process involves both our system and those of your bank. 


If a card payment fails, double check that you have entered all the details correctly, make sure you are using a card that has not expired and that your billing address was entered at the time of payment exactly as it appears on your bank statement. 


Please ensure that your billing address in your account details is the same as the details to which your payment card is registered, otherwise your payment may be declined. 


If all that doesn't work, try an alternative card for payment - we accept all major credit and debit cards and you can also pay with PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

RETURNS


GENERAL INFORMATION

It's important that you feel fully satisfied with your Movitra eyewear, so we're happy to do our best to support you with returns and exchanges. FREE SHIPPING WITHIN THE EUROPEAN UNION.

RETURNS

Please return the item within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the goods.


You will be responsible for the return shipping cost. 


Please note that in the event of a return any customs or import duties for products returned to Italy will be at your expense. In case of return we are not able to foresee any expenses and the Customer is responsible for the payment of customs duties, custom and local sales taxes. 


You can contact your local customs office for further information on any charges you may incur for shipping to Italy. We guarantee to refund all items purchased from movitra.it if you are not completely satisfied with them, once they are returned to us in an acceptable condition to be sold, within 30 days of receipt. 


We do our best to meet your needs and make the return process fast and accurate. 

RETURN PROCEDURE

CHANGES

If you would like to exchange any product, please specify the new model you would like to receive, write us the reason for the exchange and follow the return procedure in the link above. We will send you the new item within 30 days of receiving the old item at our warehouse.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

Please provide as much information as possible about the product and the order, possibly including one or more detailed pictures. If you return a faulty product, we will examine the returned product and inform you of the refund by email as soon as possible. 


We will generally process the refund as soon as possible and, in any event, within 30 (THIRTY) calendar days from the day we confirmed to you by email that you were entitled to a refund for the defective Product. 


Products returned by you due to a defect will be refunded in full, including a refund of shipping costs for sending the (defective) item. Any customs or import duties imposed on defective products returned to Italy will be paid by Movitra. 

WILL MY SHIPPING COST BE REFUNDED?

For returns within the member states of the European Union, the return of items is free of charge if you use the Movitra return procedure. If you have any questions regarding the return of your order, please contact us and we will be happy to look into your request further for you.

I SENT SOME ITEMS BACK, HOW WILL I BE REIMBURSED?

Once we have received and examined the returned items, an online refund will be made using the original payment method. As soon as the return has been processed by our warehouse, we will send you an email to inform you. Once the refund has been confirmed by email, it can take up to 30 working days for the amount to appear on your payment card.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE PACKAGE IS LOST DURING RETURN?

Whenever you send a parcel back to us via your local postal service, please ensure that you obtain proof of posting. We will need it to examine your package in case of loss upon its return. Please contact us if you have any questions about your return and we will be happy to review the case for you.

I'VE LOST MY RETURN RECEIPT, WHAT DO I DO?

You can print and include the shipping confirmation email stating the reason for returning the items and confirm if you would like an exchange or refund. Alternatively, you can send a covering letter in the parcel clearly stating the following: Your name and address, order number, reason for returning your order.

HOW DO I KNOW WHEN MY ORDER HAS BEEN REFUNDED?

As soon as your return has been processed by our warehouse, we will send you an email to inform you.

WHY CAN'T I RETURN IT TO ONE OF YOUR DEALERS?

Unfortunately, we cannot currently accept returns in any of our international stores. We will notify you as soon as possible.
